Montana Snowbowl - Snowbowl is Missoula's hidden secret. A difficult mountain with slow chairs and a windy road, this is no place for beginners. But if you know your stuff, then Snowbowl is paradise. A 2600ft drop, abundant bowls, and acre upon acre of tree skiing make this Missoula's choice. Snow report: (406) 549-9696

Big Mountain - Rated number 21 in North America and the best resort in Montana by the readers of Ski Magazine, October 2001 issue, Big Mountain is a rapidly growing resort ski area near Whitefish. Today, an efficient lift system with high-speed quads makes the climb, and you reap the rewards. 3,000 acres of fluffy goodness. 91 marked runs. 2,500 feet of vertical. Plus a terrain park. Everywhere you look, you see powder stashes, tree shots, velvety groomers, and surprisingly few people. Snow report: (406) 862-SNOW

Lost Trail - When you visit Lost Trail Powder Mountain you will enjoy the beauty and uncrowded slopes of the Northern Rockies' hidden jewel.
