Pipestone pass is along the continental divide near Butte, MT.  It is an area full of unique rock formations that provide some outstanding climbing opportunities. 

It is from this area that Pipestone Mountaineering takes its name. 

Pipestone Mountaineeering is a specialty mountain sport retailer that was started in Butte, Mt by Jim Wilson in 1990.
